My Journey - From simple ideas to real online businesses.
From working in the corporate world of sales and management, a quirk of fate that happened in 2005 led to me falling into website design and online sales...
2005 - Scoobies
My daughter came home from school asking for help with Scoubidou knots which were all the rage in the playground, I launched scoobies.co.uk. An online store selling a PDF that made £400 a day! It taught me a lot about selling online.
2006 - WorldTVPC
IBefore Netflix was a thing, I created WorldTVPC, a website about watching TV channels online. It generated over £430,000 in Google AdSense revenue and I later sold the site for more profits.
2015 - Beard & Wonderful
We created a Mens grooming business The Beard and The Wonderful, It grew rapidly and turned over £200,000 p/a. We opened a Popular shop, which became a much-loved local business.
Today - SMBBooster
Now I take everything I've learned over the last 20 years and use it to help small and local businesses get more customers online and generate leads, with great websites, the tools, and practical strategies that work.
It started in the kitchen
The Beard & The Wonderful
In 2015 I Founded The Beard & The Wonderful, a growing family business selling mens grooming products & more, both online and from our shop.
The business grew rapidly, selling through our website, eBay and Amazon, as well as wholesale. It became a beard sensation.
Eventually we sold The Beard & The Wonderful for £67,000.
From a kitchen worktop to new york
Then eBay Came Calling
In 2017, eBay noticed what I was doing with The Beard and The Wonderful and invited me to New York to meet their team. It was an amazing experience and a real milestone on the journey.
eBay chose us as the only UK attendee, which helped raise the profile of the business and opened up new opportunities.
It was a great experience and reinforced the potential of online business, no matter where you're starting from.
